Several fellowship and service organizations exist within our community, providing members with additional opportunities to give of their time and talents in furthering the work of God's Church.
Our parish council consists of fourteen members who are elected by the parish body and meet monthly with the guidance of the priest to conduct the business of the parish. Meetings are held regularly every second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM in the church hall. Contact: Andrew Evans (480-948-7929)
Our choir sings regularly at all liturgical services and is always ready to accept new members who can add to the beauty of our praying and singing together. Proficiency exists in being able to sing (or learn) in English and / or Slavonic (Russian) as the circumstances warrant.
Our Altar Servers assist the Bishop/priest at the liturgical services.
Myrrh Bearers Altar Society
This organization of women of the Church was formed on February 12, 1961. It has historically provided an active channel through which women of all ages meet regularly and share ideas and efforts in service to and beautification of the Church. They have been responsible for purchasing and also sewing some of the following articles: vestments, linens for the Altar, curtains for the Royal Doors, Altar Server’s robes, etc. Great support is lent in fund raising projects and other activities within the Church.
